Goodbye winter outfit

As the day is getting bigger and the sun is hotter every day I think it's time to say goodbye to winter!

It is time for color in our closets but also in our mood! I said my goodbye to winter black (even though it does flatter those extra pounds) and this is my last dark outfit for the season. Simple basic items in neutral black and brown quickly put together before I rushed to the theater!

Καθώς η μέρα μεγαλώνει και ο ήλιος ζεσταίνει κάθε μέρα και περισσότερο ήρθε ο καιρός να πουμε αντίο  στο χειμώνα! Καιρός να μπει και πάλι χρώμα τόσο στην γκαρνταρόμπα όσο και στη διάθεση μας! Έτσι λοιπόν αποχαιρετώ και γω τα μαύρα  (αν και κρύβουν καλύτερα τα παραπανίσια κιλά των τελευταίων μηνών) με το τελευταίο μου σκούρο outfit για φέτος, έναν πολύ απλό συνδυασμό που διάλεξα βιαστικά για να πάω στο θέατρο!

Μία πολύ καλή μας φίλη η κα Μαρία Τσιρούκη ολοκλήρωσε χτες την πρώτη

 της έκθεση χειροποίητου κοσμήματος και φυσικά δεν έχασα την ευκαιρία

 να την επισκεπτώ!

Η έκθεση έλαβε χώρα στον εκθεσιακό χώρο ενός πολύ ζεστού και όμορφου 

καφέ που μέχρι σήμερα δεν είχαμε ανακαλύψει, όπου η κα Μαρία 

μας προσέφερε ζεστο τσαι με γεύση ρόδι.

Στην προσπάθειά της να αξιοποιήσει τον ελεύθερο χρόνο της και παράλληλα να εκφραστεί δημιουργικά άρχισε αυτοδίδακτη να φτίαχνει αξεσσουάρ και μέσα σε λιγότερο από δύο μήνες κατέληξε με μία πολύ όμορφη συλλογή. 

Για να το εκτιμήσεις πρέπει να το δεις φορεμένο!

 Και εγώ βρήκα τι χαρά μου να δοκιμάζω..

Αυτός ο φιόγκος φωνάζει το όνομά μου!

   

  Η σειρά που μου άρεσε περισσότερο ήταν αυτή με τα statement necklaces σε έντονα χρώματα!

 

Παρ'ολα αυτά  

για αρχή προτίμησα να πάρω κάτι πιο ασφαλές, 

οπότε αυτό είναι το κολιέ που διάλεξα!

#gotta_share: Sara Jessica Parker's interview

Our beloved Sara Jessica Parker has been on the spotlight since the issue of her first shoe line available here that I am sure everybody has seen. Not so extravagant shoes as many had expected but relevantly affordable, good quality feminine heels, sort of "the classics" for every woman!

Anyway my #gotta _share today is not about her shoe line but about her house!

SJP made a mini interview and answering  72 questions in 5 min and we got to see a sneak peek of the ground floor of her home! Nothing like what I would have expected, we get to see some colorful spaces with pieces of art and random collections layering. I loved it because it was nothing like the catalogue houses of other celebrities where you can tell that interior designers have chosen everything for them.

I loved how her home looked more like it was in France rather than New York!

I loved how her personality reflected in her home!

I loved the green sofa and the green walls!

I loved the globes collection! 

I loved the bar cart!

I loved the Encyclopedia display! (My dad used to do that too!)

I loved the art walls!

I loved how blue her eyes really are!

I loved that she loves Greece!

Most of all I loved how SJP reminded me why I am not a minimalist!

Flashback outfit in Rome!

Well the Italian vibe is still very vivid in my mind due to my recent trip to Milan,so today I thought I'd do a quick flashback to my days in Rome.

This is probably one of my favourite set of pictures because it reminds me of a very carefree time in my life.

I was visiting my boyfriend in Italy and we were just having fun snapping pictures around town...

Apparently I was wearing grey eye contacts at the time and I think I kinda miss them.

I was also wearing my favourite knit and and an Η&Μ beanie with a diy detail on it.

If you notice on the bow there are some gold strings and some pearls...

Well these belonged to a hair clip but I took them of and sewed them on my bow to add an extra sparkle!

Other items: A Bershka sweater-dress, Calzedonia blue tights, Longchamp Le Pliage bag and unidentified over the knee boots..

Μιας και είμαί ακόμα σε ιταλικό πνεύμα μετά το ταξίδι στο Μιλάνο σκέφτηκα σήμερα να κάνω ένα μικρό flashback σε κάποιες παλιές φωτογραφίες τραβηγμένες στη Ρώμη.

Το σετ αυτών των φωτογραφιών που βγάλαμε χαζομαρίζοντας με τον φίλο μου είναι από τα αγαπημένα μου κυριώς γιατί μου θυμίζουν μια εποχή που ήμουν πραγματικά χαρούμενη και ξεγνοιαστη.

Απ'ότι φαίνεται εκείνη την περίοδο φορούσα γκρι φακούς επαφής και νομίζω ότι θέλω να το ξαναεπιχειρήσω.

Επίσης ως πανωφόρι φορούσα ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου πλεκτά και έναν H&M σκούφο με την προσωπική μου diy πινελία. Οι χρυσές αλυσίδες με τις περλίτσες ήταν τσιμπιδάκι για τα μαλλιά το οποίο το έραψα επάνω στον φιόγκο του σκούφου για να του δώσω λίγη τσαχπινιά.. : Ρ

Το υπόλοιπο outfit αποτελείται από ένα φουτεροφόρεμα Bershka, κολάν Calzedonia, τσάντα Longchamp Le Pliage και αγνώστου ταυτότητος ψηλές μπότες...
